1 teen dead in single-vehicle crash on West Fuqua Street in Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, a teen died in a fatal single-vehicle collision on West Fuqua Street Saturday night.
Three juveniles were in an SUV when the driver lost control and plowed into a tree around 10:45 p.m.
The driver and front passenger fled the scene on foot. They later returned.
First responders pronounced the 14-year-old backseat passenger dead at the scene.
The District Attorney’s Office may charge the two juveniles who ran with failure to stop and render aid.
