Deputy Involved In Fatal Crash Identified
The Travis County deputy who died after a rollover crash has been identified, according to a March 18 article by Fox 7 Austin.
He was identified as 32-year-old Senior Deputy Christopher Korzilius and was assigned to TCSO’s VICE unit. Korzilius was driving an unmarked vehicle in the 7700 block of Bee Caves Road, Wednesday morning. He was driving a Ford when a westbound Infiniti veered into the eastbound lane and collided into it. The on-duty deputy died at the scene.
Also, another person was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center due to potentially severe injuries.
