11 sent to hospital after METRO bus hits pole in Greater Greenspoint
HOUSTON, TX — Eleven people were injured Tuesday when a METRO bus crashed into a street pole during a multi-vehicle wreck in north Houston, reports ABC13.
The accident occurred on the 200 block of Greens Road, near the North Freeway (Interstate 45), in the Greater Greenspoint area.
It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, but METRO officials confirmed two other vehicles were involved.
The bus driver and ten of their passengers were transported to a local hospital for injuries considered non-life-threatening.
No one in the other vehicles were reported hurt.
Footage captured at the scene shows significant damaged to the bus’ front windshield.
