KAREN, TX – A 17-year-old teenage boy was killed, and a 48-year-old man was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Karen on Friday.
Texas Department of Public Safety told Click2Houston that the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of FM 149 and Karen Switch Road.
A 17-year-old boy driving a gray 2018 Dodge Challenger was driving south on FM 149 when he rear-ended a black 2001 Jeep Wrangler.
The teenager’s Dodge Challenger veered into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a gray 2025 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck.
