2 dead following fiery 4-vehicle collision in northeast Houston
HOUSTON, TX – Two people died in a fiery crash caused by a wrong-way driver near Wallisville Road and US 90 on Saturday, according to KHOU.
A gray Honda Accord driver was heading east on Wallisville Rd when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Dodge Ram 1500. The Accord started to spin and hit the drivers of a black Chrysler Pacifica and a blue Hyundai Sonata.
The Honda became engulfed in flames. First responders pronounced the two occupants of the Honda dead at the scene.
Authorities believe the Hyundai driver may have been intoxicated. They may charge him with DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon, depending on the results of toxicology.
