2 dead following single-vehicle crash on TX 288 near Hermann Park
HOUSTON, TX – Two people died in a single-vehicle collision near TX 288 SB and N MacGregor Way on Sunday, according to Click 2 Houston.
A man was driving a red Jeep with a woman passenger when he plowed into a light pole around 7 a.m. The Jeep then caught on fire.
Paramedics pronounced both the man and the woman dead at the scene.
Crews shut down the area so authorities could investigate the incident. Investigators could not find evidence that the driver used their brakes before the wreck.
The area was reopened around 12 p.m.
