2 drivers fatally collide with pedestrian on N Fwy
HOUSTON, TX – Two drivers struck and killed a 41-year-old male pedestrian near the 4400 block of N Fwy on Sunday, according to the Houston Police Department.
The driver of a blue Toyota Corolla was heading north on N Fwy when they hit the victim around 12:20 a.m. The driver of a white Ford Escape tried to avoid hitting the victim but also hit him.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Following the collision, both drivers remained at the scene.
Authorities determined the drivers, a 67-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, were not impaired. They were questioned and released by the police.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
