2 killed, 1 injured in head-on crash on FM-1314 near NW Porter
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Two 24-year-old men died Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on Farm to Market 1314 near northwest Porter, according to ABC13.
The fatal wreck took place near the intersection with Northgate Lane. It was first reported by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at around 1:10 p.m.
An early investigation by the Department of Public Safety indicates a Toyota was traveling northbound when its driver veered into the southbound lanes. Moments later, it collided head-on with a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Authorities said the driver and passenger of the Toyota, both 24, were pronounced deceased on the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old man, was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. He is expected to make a recovery.
At this time, officials have not disclosed a possible cause of the crash.
