2 killed, 2 injured in collision on SH 249
GRAVES COUNTY, TX- A three-car accident on State Highway 249 killed two drivers and injured two other occupants on April 1st, KBTX reports.
A 2002 Toyota Sequoia, operated by Antonio Torres, 21, was driving north on State Highway 249 when it suddenly veered onto the southbound lane.
Once crossing over, the Toyota struck a 2016 Ford Taurus, driven by Marvin Mathis, 33. Upon striking that vehicle, the Ford was then struck by another southbound vehicle, a 2019 Chevy pickup. This happened near Farm-to-Market 1774.
Torres and Mathis died in the accident.
Keidy Carcamo Baires, 21, driver of the Chevy, was hospitalized at Tomball Regional Hospital. He did not have any major injuries.
Lakendra Mathis, 30, passenger in the Ford, was hospitalized at Herman Memorial Woodlands with serious injuries.
