2 motorcyclists left critically hurt after hit-and-run off I-45 in north Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A man and a woman were hospitalized with serious injuries Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle while riding motorcycles off Interstate Highway 45 in north Houston, reports ABC13.
Houston Police said the incident, which involved a hit-and-run driver, occurred on the I-45 (North Freeway) feeder road at Midland Drive. Houston Police responded to the scene shortly after 8:00 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate the victims were among others traveling northbound on motorcycles when they were hit. Moments later, the vehicle, believed to be a black four-door Cadillac, fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The two riders were rushed to an area hospital. At the time of ABC13’s report, the male victim remained in critical condition and the female victim was listed in stable condition.
An investigation and search for the hit-and-run suspect remain underway.
