2 vehicles strike same man on 10400 Eastex Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A 54 year-old man was run over by a tractor trailer and then by a pickup truck on Jan. 7th on N U.S. HW 59, the Houston Police Department reports.
At 1:05a.m., the two westbound vehicles hit the man who was crossing the main roadway on Saturday morning.
Both drivers were forced by traffic to drive until they hit the Little York Road exit. They then left their vehicles there and walked back to the victim. The Houston Fire Department was one of the authorities to respond to the call.
The victim perished by the time authorities responded to the call. The identity of the victim has not been released yet.
The two drivers were released after talking with authorities.
There is an investigation currently being conducted on this accident.
