3 adults and child hospitalized after apartment fire in Coronado Hills
AUSTIN, TX – Three adults and a child were hospitalized following an apartment fire in the Coronado Hills area late Thursday night, according to CBS Austin.
The incident happened at the Rise at the Cameron apartments, located at 1521 Reagan Hill Drive near Highway 290 and Cameron Road, at around 11:06 p.m.
Three adults and a child were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for severe injuries. They are all expected to make a recovery.
The fire involved two apartment buildings, with a total of 20 units deemed unlivable and four units sustaining the most damage.
A total of 15 people were displaced after the blaze.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation at this time.
