3 hurt in entrapment crash at Research Forest, Cochran’s Crossing
WOODLANDS, TX – Three people were injured Monday in a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in south-central Montgomery County, reports KHOU 11.
Shortly before 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to a major crash at Research Forest Drive and Cochran’s Crossing Drive in The Woodlands, which is 30 miles northwest of Houston.
Police haven’t commented on the cause of the accident, which they say involved a BMW coupe and a Mercedes-Benz SUV. One person from the BMW became entrapped and required lengthy extrication measures.
Medics transported the victim from the BMW to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Two people from the Mercedes also required hospitalization; the extent of their injuries is unclear.
