3 students, 1 adult hurt following school bus crash near Midtown
HOUSTON, TX – According to ABC 13, an eight-vehicle crash involving a Lufkin ISD school bus on US 59 near Fannin St sent three cheerleaders and one adult to the hospital on Sunday.
The wreck occurred around 11:50 a.m. Over 30 students were on the bus at the time of the collision.
Authorities cited the bus driver. It is unclear what the citation was four.
All three students were released from the hospital by Sunday evening.
HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
