5 people injured in early-morning crash on Parmer Ln
AUSTIN, TX – Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Parmer Lane this morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at E Parmer Ln and McCallen Pass before 6 a.m., when two vehicles collided.
At least one person was pinned within the wreckage.
Four adult victims, including the person pinned in their vehicle, were declared trauma alerts. Two of those trauma alert patients were then taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
Another patient was taken to the hospital with severe, possibly life-threatening wounds.
The fourth trauma alert victim was brought to the hospital for the treatment of possibly severe injuries.
A fifth person suffered minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
