Amazon truck fatally strikes pedestrian on Hwy 6
HOUSTON, TX- An unidentified male pedestrian was killed by an Amazon truck on Highway 6 in the early morning of April 3, KTRK reports.
The crash happened around 3:40 that morning in a poorly lit area of the highway.
The pedestrian was standing in the middle of the northbound lanes when the truck struck him. It is not understood at this time why the pedestrian was even in this area where traffic had the right of way and was moving.
The victim died at the scene, and the driver worked with police while they were conducting their investigation.
