Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on Sheldon Road
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver struck and killed a female pedestrian on the 9200 block of Sheldon Road Saturday night.
Heliodora Lopez was driving a 2022 Toyota Corolla north on Sheldon Road when she hit Brittany Dallmeyer outside of a crosswalk around 8:20 p.m.
First responders pronounced Dallmeyer dead at the scene.
Following the collision, Lopez stated at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The Vehicular Crimes Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
