Mother, daughter die following crash on US 90
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A mother and her 5-year-old daughter died following a single-vehicle collision on the 1300 block of US 90 on Sunday, according to KTRK.
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll multiple times.
The mother, a 25-year-old woman, and her 5-year-old daughter were ejected from the collision. Rescue crews transported them to an area hospital, where they died.
First responders transported the 26-year-old father, a 2-year-old boy, and a 2-month-old baby girl to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies believe speed played a role in the incident.
The collision is under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
