1 dead following multi-vehicle wreck on N Grand Pkwy W in Spring
SPRING, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a person died following a multi-vehicle collision on the 5700 N Grand Pkwy W on Tuesday morning.
Mark Holmes was driving a 2023 Dodge Ram west on N Grand Pkwy W at 8:32 a.m. when he changed lanes and collided with a 2020 BMW X1 operated by Charliany Marinheiro Paiva Dos Santos.
Holmes then hit a 2002 Ford van driven by Noam Bibi. Debris from the collision struck a 2021 Nissan NV 2500 operated by Jesse Vidales.
The collisions forced Holmes off the roadway to a grass berm leading to a detention pond. The Ram flipped over and landed on its roof in the detention pond.
Rescue crews transported Holmes to an area hospital, where he died.
None of the other drivers were hurt in the wreck.
