Driver fatally collided with pedestrian on TX 6 in Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on the 6800 block of Tx 6 on Wednesday.
Cristina Gonzales was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south on TX 6 when she hit an unidentified Black man around 6:06 a.m. The man was crossing from west to east outside of a marked crosswalk.
Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at 6:13 a.m.
Gonzales was not hurt in the collision.
