Constables arrest fatal hit-and-run suspect at airport
HOUSTON, TX – Constables arrested a woman at the airport for a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at W Airtex Blvd and Brundage Dr on Wednesday, according to Click 2 Houston.
Authorities believe Nyla Gamboa, 22, was driving a black SUV when she fled the scene after fatally colliding with a cyclist named Adrian Johnson.
Constables took Gamboa into custody at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. She has been charged with failure to stop and render aid in connection with a death.
The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office is investigating the incident.
