2-year-old girl dies after being run over by brother on Leonora Street

HOUSTON, TX – A two-year-old girl was fatally struck by her brother’s pickup truck on Leonora Street near Bellfort Avenue Saturday night, according to Click 2 Houston.

A family was unloading groceries when the victim ran into a parking lot while playing with a sibling. The brother did not see the girl and hit her as he was backing up around 10 p.m.

The family attempted to render aid to the girl and called 911.

First responders transported the girl to an area hospital, where she died.

Authorities have not charged the brother.
