School bus crash near Kuykendahl and FM 1960 injures 2
HOUSTON, TX – One adult and one child sustained injuries last week in a school bus crash in northwestern Houston, reports KHOU 11.
Sometime in the afternoon on Thursday, emergency teams reported to a two-vehicle collision near Kuykendahl Road and FM 1960 in the Bammel area.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a pickup truck rear-ended a Spring ISD school bus carrying two children.
Medics transported the school bus driver and one of the children to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
It’s unclear if the driver of the pickup truck was hurt in the collision.
The accident likely caused delays in the area of Kuykendahl and FM 1960 while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
No charges have been filed so far.
The investigation is ongoing.
