Single-car ejection crash on FM 3005 in Galveston injures 2
GALVESTON, TX – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday evening from injuries sustained in a solo crash along Galveston Island, reports The Daily News.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on FM 3005, or Seawall Boulevard. This is about 51 miles southeast of Houston.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a westbound Mazda lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and impacted with multiple road signs and a pole.
One of the two people in the Mazda was ejected, and the other required extrication.
Medics transported both patients to an area hospital with serious injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding the condition of the driver at the time of the collision.
