Three Dead in Suspected Drunk Driving Crash
HOUSTON, TX – A multi-vehicle suspected drunk driving accident killed three people early Sunday morning, FOX 26 reports.
According to authorities, the collision occurred in the 12300 block of Almeda Road near Tidewater Drive just before 1:30 am. The driver of a Chrysler 300 reportedly ran a red light and struck a Buick Enclave, which then crashed into three other vehicles.
Three occupants of the Buick were pronounced dead at the scene. Other victims suffered minor injuries. The suspect driver was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Authorities believe the driver was impaired.
The accident remains under investigation.
