Car fatally strikes cyclist near I-10 SB and Woodlark St in Orange
ORANGE, TX – A bicyclist died Tuesday in a collision that happened along the interstate in northeast Orange County, reports 12 News Now.
Around 7 p.m., emergency crews responded to a fatal accident on the southbound service road of I-10 near Woodlark Street in Orange, which is approximately 113 miles northeast or Houston.
It’s not yet clear if the victim was cycling on or near the roadway when the crash occurred.
Authorities pronounced the bicyclist deceased at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released to the public.
The driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and to speak with police.
A full investigation is underway.
