1 killed, 3 hurt in T-bone crash at Burney Rd, Airport Blvd
SUGAR LAND, TX – A T-bone collision in the southwest suburbs of Houston killed one person and injured three others over the weekend.
According to Click 2 Houston, the accident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday at Burney Road and West Airport Boulevard in northwest Sugar Land, about 24 miles from Houston.
Police say that driver of an SUV failed to heed a red light and struck the side of another vehicle in the intersection.
A passenger from the vehicle that was hit sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
Medics transported three additional people to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
No charges have been announced thus far.
