Fatality reported in solo crash at Wellborn, Harvey Mitchell

COLLEGE STATION, TX – A 77-year-old man died on Valentine’s Day from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision in Brazos County.

According to msn, the accident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Wellborn Road near Harvey Mitchell Parkway in College Station. This is approximately 95 miles northwest of Houston.

The investigation indicates that James Conrad Heath was driving an antique Chevy pickup when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

Heath died after transport to an area hospital.

There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the wreck.

The investigation is ongoing.
