Injuries reported in solo ejection crash on W Tidwell Rd

HOUSTON, TX – One person sustained injuries Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.

Around 4 a.m., emergency crews were called to an ejection crash on West Tidwell Drive between I-45 and US-290.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver left the roadway and crashed into a pole, causing it to topple.

The impact of the collision threw the driver from his vehicle.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
