Houston PD chase ends with injury crash on W Little York Rd
HOUSTON, TX – A high-speed police chase ended in a major crash with injuries in northwest Houston on Thursday, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on West Little York Road off of West Montgomery Road.
Police say they attempted to stop a driver with a felony warrant after they observed him travelling at a high rate of speed and failing to stop at several red lights.
The suspect ultimately lost control of his red Corvette after a tire blow out, at which point the vehicle rolled and impacted with an unidentified building.
Medics transported the driver and female passenger from the Corvette to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding the nature of the suspect’s warrant, nor do we know if he will face additional charges.
