1 killed, 1 hurt in wrong-way crash on TX-6 in NW Houston
HOUSTON, TX – One driver died, and two other drivers sustained injuries Sunday night in a multi-vehicle collision in northwest Houston.
According to Click 2 Houston, the accident occurred around 11 p.m. on TX-6 between Clay Creek Drive and Pine Forest Lane in the Clay Hills Plaza area.
Police say that at least three vehicles were involved in a crash along the highway caused by a wrong-way driver. A northbound vehicle, police say, entered the southbound side of the TX-6.
The wrong-way driver, who has not yet been identified by authorities, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported two additional drivers to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
