One dead, one airlifted after e-bike crash with pickup in Pasadena
PASADENA, TX – One person died and another was injured in an e-bike crash with a pickup Monday night in Pasadena, reports FOX 26 Houston.
Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of San Jacinto Drive and Queens Road just before 9 p.m. Early reports indicate two people riding two-wheeled vehicles that appeared to be e-bikes had collided with a pickup truck.
Authorities said one rider died at the scene. Witnesses also said emergency crews transported the other rider from the scene by Life Flight.
Reports identified the riders as an adult man and another person who was possibly a teenager. Officials have not confirmed their identities.
Investigators have not said what caused the crash. Police also have not released details about the relationship between the two riders.
Authorities have not shared the condition of the pickup truck driver.
Pasadena police continue to investigate the fatal collision and urge anyone with information about the crash to reach out.
