Woman killed in pedestrian-vehicle crash in Houston 

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle crash that happened north of Glenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, ABC13 said.

A female pedestrian was trying to cross the 2400th block of Summer Street without using a marked crosswalk and was struck by a black Chevy Tahoe car.

EMS crews rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital, where she later died.

Houston Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and did not show signs of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police questioned the driver, who they then released.

A full investigation is underway.
