One life claimed in motorcycle-SUV crash in Katy

KATY, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the Morton Ranch area on Monday, ABC13 said.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a motorcycle and an SUV collided around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mason Road and Katy Briar Lane.

Authorities closed the area to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process and investigation.

Officials have not released the victim’s name and are working to determine the cause of the two-vehicle crash.
