Houston PD investigates deadly collision on Gulf Freeway 

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating the details behind a deadly collision that occurred on the Gulf Freeway on Sunday, Fox26Houston said.

The collision happened around 5:45 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Scarsdale Boulevard. Police said that due to the serious nature of the crash, they shut down the northbound lanes, which included two right shoulders and three frontage lanes, for investigation purposes.

All lanes reopened around 8:45 a.m.

Police said at least one person died, although they have not released their identity.
