Woman fatally struck by vehicle outside Hotel Bella

HOUSTON, TX – A woman lost her life after she was struck by a vehicle outside Hotel Bella on Thursday, Click2Houston said.

Preliminary details show the woman was walking across the 13300 block of Highway 249 when she was struck by a Toyota sedan.

Subsequently, the female pedestrian died from her injuries at the scene. Officials later confirmed she was not using a marked crosswalk.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine if other factors were involved in the pedestrian-vehicle crash.
