Child e-bike rider hospitalized after crash with car in Spring

SPRING, TX – A child was hospitalized after an e-bike and car crash in Spring on Thursday, ABC13 said.

A 9-year-old child, riding an electric dirt bike, was struck by an e-bike while traveling on the 200th block of Pinto Point Drive.

EMS crews rushed the child to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, but did not specify whether they were cited or arrested.

The cause of the e-bike and car crash remains under investigation.
