1 life claimed in big rig, vehicle collision on Katy Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed in a big rig-vehicle collision that happened on the Katy Freeway on Wednesday.

According to ABC13, the crash occurred before 11:45 a.m. on the eastbound lanes along Bunker Hill.

Authorities shut down multiple eastbound lanes before reopening the area a few hours later, after 3 p.m.

Houston police have not released the victim’s name or specified the events leading to the crash.
