Pedestrian’s life claimed in collision involving big rig in North Houston 

NORTH HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in a collision involving a big rig that happened in North Houston on Wednesday.

According to Click2Houston, the pedestrian was struck by the semi-truck at the intersection of southbound Interstate 45 and State Highway 242.

According to the source’s image, at least four law enforcement vehicles and one fire truck engine pulled up to the scene. The fire engine blocked several lanes of traffic, leaving the far left lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic. Drivers were told to expect delays as crews worked to restore safe road conditions.
