Motorcyclist tragically killed on his birthday after crash involving car in North Houston
NORTH HOUSTON, TX – A 62-year-old male motorcyclist tragically lost his life on his birthday, Wednesday, Oct. 7, after a crash involving a car in North Houston.
The collision happened before 11 p.m. in the 8500th block of West Montgomery Road, Click2Houston said. Investigation details reveal that a driver of a white Toyota Camry made a left turn and collided with a motorcyclist.
The 62-year-old man fell from his bike and succumbed to his injuries. The Toyota driver, a 31-year-old man, was left with unspecified injuries.
EMS transported the surviving motorist to a hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
Police suspect the Toyota driver may have been impaired, but have not announced any pending criminal charges against him.
Police are actively working to determine whether the motorcyclist or driver was at fault for the crash.
