One person injured in apartment fire on Burton Dr in SE Austin
AUSTIN, TX – One person was injured in an apartment fire in southeast Austin this morning, according to information from KXAN.
The incident happened at 2124 Burton Drive, near E Oltorf Street, at around 12:55 p.m.
Authorities arrived at the scene to discover an unconscious occupant of the home as well as food being cooked on the stove.
The victim was evaluated for minor smoke inhalation injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
