Pedestrian hospitalized after early-morning crash on Hwy 290 service rd
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital following a pedestrian crash on the Highway 290 service road early Saturday morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened near the Coronado Hills area in the 7000 block of E Highway 290 eastbound near Berkman Street at about 3:30 a.m., when a pedestrian victim was struck by a driver.
The victim, who was identified only as an adult, was declared a trauma alert, en taken to Dell Seton Medical Center to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening wounds.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
