AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, a crash on northbound I-35 near grand Avenue Parkway is causing major delays on I-35.

The accident took place this evening and has reduced the average speed on the roadway to roughly 15 miles per hour. Traffic is currently backed up all the way to Tech Ridge Boulevard.

It is unclear what caused the crash at this time. If more details on the crash are reported then this story will be updated.
