Accident shuts down all lanes on Highway 281

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A major collision forced officials to shut down all the northbound lanes of S.H. 281 Tuesday morning.

According to KSAT, the incident happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. close to Hildebrand Avenue north of downtown.

Details regarding how many vehicles involved in the collision or what may have caused the incident are not available at this time. However, the situation is still under investigation.

The northbound lanes have since been reopened.
