Injuries reported in crash on US-290

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities were forced to close off a lane on US Highway 290 north of Austin following a Tuesday night collision involving injuries.

According to the KXAN Austin traffic tracker, the accident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on US 290 westbound near Farm to Market Road 1100.

Information on the severity of the injuries sustained as a result of the crash and how many vehicles were involved has not been released. However delays are likely on US 290 throughout Tuesday night while the crash is investigated and cleared from the roadway.
