MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Emergency crews were called to a collision Monday morning on Farm to Market Road 1485 in New Caney, according to Houston Transtar.
The crash, which was verified by officials at 10:21 a.m., impacted the eastbound side of FM-1485 at the intersection with Gene Campbell Road.

Following the initial report, all main lanes of eastbound FM-1485, as well as its left and right shoulders, were blocked.
The closure remained in place at 12:00 p.m., more than 1.5 hours later, suggesting a major accident and a more involved emergency response.
