Ambulance t-boned while driving down Airline Drive

HOUSTON, TX- Two first responders were hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash on Airline Drive and Parker Road on March 20th, Fox 26 Digital reports.

The firefighters were heading south when the Chevy Avalanche hit their vehicle at 3a.m. The Chevy continued driving west on Parker Road after crashing. Even though the offending vehicle departed the scene, some debris remained behind.

Both of the victims were last reported to be in stable condition. They claim that they had a green light at the intersection when the Chevy hit them. Thankfully, no patients were in the ambulance when the Chevy tore into it.

Authorities from the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division request that those individuals with additional information on the Chevy or its driver contact them at (713)247-4072.
