At least 1 dead following tanker truck wreck on Westpark Tollway
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were dispatched to the scene of a fatal truck collision early Friday in southwest Houston that claimed at least one life, reports Click2Houston.
The accident took place on the westbound side of the Westpark Tollway near State Highway 6. It was first reported by Click2Houston shortly after 4:00 a.m.
An investigation into the circumstances of the event remains under way, but deputies with Constable Terry Albritton’s office were on the scene, which involved a tanker truck.
At least one person was pronounced deceased, but no identifying details have been shared with the public at this time.
It was also not immediately clear how many other vehicles were involved.
