Auto-pedestrian accident leaves 1 dead on HW 6
SUGAR LAND, TX- A male pedestrian was killed by a truck on Jan. 19th as he was attempting to cross Highway 6, Click2Houston reports.
The truck hit the unidentified man near the Settlers Way overpass at about 5:27a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear why he was walking on the highway when the crash occurred.
The driver stayed on scene until the Sugar Land Police Department arrived.
No other details were provided regarding the identity of the victim or the driver.
