Bicyclist dies following crash near T.C. Jester Park

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist died after colliding with a pickup truck on Watonga Boulevard near White Oak Bayou on Tuesday, according to ABC 13.

Angel Rutiaga was driving a pickup truck when he entered the number two lane and collided with a 70-year-old bicyclist.

Police believe Rutiaga failed to give the cyclist the right of way.

The bicyclist died in the crash.

Authorities determined Rutiaga was not impaired and have not charged him with the collision at this time. Police said that could change as the investigation continues.
